History:

It is located in saint Catherine city, where the monks monastery is exists, the tourists come from Sharm El Shekh to visit saint Catherine.

The airport was handed over to the Egyptian civil aviation authority in 1982, where it was subjected to the civilian administration.

It remained as it was till now due to the lack of tourists there.

The airport is located at about 20 miles northeast the city

Capacity:

·         The terminal with the capacity of 80 passengers per hour and it is equipped to perform the passengers' procedures.

·         The airport includes one runway

·         It also includes a tarmac with the capacity of 7 aircrafts, and a main runway
